Not Just a Border Issue

There is a dangerous narrative circulating in America:

That trafficking only happens at the border.

The truth?
It happens in suburbs.
In small towns.
In major cities.
Across every state.

The U.S. Department of State consistently reports that trafficking occurs domestically and internationally, and many victims are U.S. citizens.

The Polaris Project identified thousands of trafficking situations across diverse industries including illicit massage businesses, residential brothels, escort services, agriculture, and even traveling sales crews.

Trafficking is about exploitation not geography.

It thrives anywhere there is:

  • Demand

  • Vulnerability

  • Silence

At Saved in America, we have assisted families in communities that never thought it could happen there.

But it does.

The issue is not political.
It’s human.

And awareness must begin at home.
