Recovery

Why Recovery Is Only the Beginning

When a missing person is found, the journey doesn’t end it changes. Survivors often face trauma, confusion, fear, and shame. Families must navigate emotional healing, trust rebuilding, and sometimes legal or medical support.

Without proper aftercare, recovery can feel incomplete. Long term support is essential for both the individual and their loved ones to move forward safely and with dignity.

True recovery means restoring safety, stability, and hope not just location.
