Warning Signs

Recognizing the Warning Signs of Human Trafficking

Human trafficking victims may display subtle but recognizable warning signs. These can include individuals who appear controlled by another person, show signs of physical abuse, avoid eye contact, or seem unable to speak freely. Victims may also lack personal identification or appear disoriented about their location. Recognizing these signs can help members of the public report potential trafficking situations to authorities. Education and awareness are key components in identifying victims and ensuring they receive help and protection. Listen to this interview from one of the rescued victims!
