11 YEARS

Honoring 11 Years Since Our First Recovery: Abby’s Story and the Mission That Followed

On December 12, 2014, Saved In America assisted in its first successful recovery a moment that would forever shape the organization’s mission.

Abby, just 15 years old, was safely recovered on that day. Her case marked the beginning of what would become a long standing commitment to assisting families and law enforcement when children go missing. What started as a single recovery quickly revealed a much larger need for structured investigative support, advocacy, and collaboration.

Since that first case, Saved In America has gone on to assist in 284 recoveries across the United States. Each recovery represents not just a statistic, but a child brought home, a family reunited, and a reminder of why this work matters.

The anniversary of Abby’s recovery is more than a milestone it is a reflection of 11 years of relentless effort, countless hours of investigation, coordination with law enforcement agencies, and unwavering dedication to families navigating unimaginable fear and uncertainty.

As we honor this anniversary, we remain committed to the mission that began on December 12, 2014 to advocate for the missing, support those searching, and ensure no family walks this journey alone.
