Fundraising Dinner

Saved in America does not charge families a dime to track down and find missing children who are suspected of becoming victims of human trafficking. As a result, fundraising dinners and other forms of donations are necessary to keep Saved in America fighting back against the evil of human trafficking. Saved in America, founded by Joseph Travers, has grown immensely and the cost of rescuing each missing child can be upwards of thousands of dollars each. Therefore, fundraising is necessary to ensure that Saved in America is able to continue to do this needed, immensely important work.

Saved in America’s Team

The team of professional volunteers is made up of former law enforcement and military specialists. The entire team are also licensed private investigators. This means that everything the group does is legal. There are no snatch-and-grab situations with Saved in America. Instead, each rescue is well organized and once the team knows where the missing child is located, then local law enforcement is informed and, in many cases, they go in and perform the actual rescue. Saved in America follows up with the victim, ensuring they get the help and advice they need to recover from their experience.

Aspects of the Fundraising Dinner

The annual fundraising dinner is an event worthy of formal attire. This gala-like experience features a meal, speakers, and the annual Brittanee Drexel award is given out on this special night. For those who follow SIA, it is well known that a great deal of the inspiration to create Saved in America came from the horrendous case involving Brittanee Drexel, a young girl who was killed by gang members after running away. In many of these human trafficking cases, the girl seemingly willingly runs away from home and finds herself often in a horrible situation, many times one she doesn’t know how to get out of.

Saving Lives

Thankfully, the work done by the group at Saved in America is saving the lives of girls just like Britanee and allowing more and more young women to continue to make their mark on the world by rescuing them from this dangerous situation. SIA has an impressive success rate of 100%, meaning that in all the cases in which they have been involved, a rescue has occurred, and the child made it out. This is all possible thanks in part of the fundraising efforts.
